What We Collect
When you use AI Builder Academy, we collect the following information:
- Email address — collected when you sign in via Google or email OTP
- Name and profile picture — collected from Google OAuth if you sign in with Google
- Course progress — which lessons you have completed
How You Sign In
We offer two sign-in methods:
- Google OAuth — we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Email OTP — we send a one-time code to your email address. The code is cryptographically signed and expires after 10 minutes.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics — for anonymous usage analytics (page views, site traffic). Only active in production.
- Mux — for video hosting and playback. Mux may collect playback analytics.
- Resend — for transactional email delivery (login codes, contact form messages).
- Kit — for waitlist and email newsletter sign-ups. Governed by Kit's own privacy policy.
Cookies and Sessions
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is encrypted and contains your email address. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies beyond Google Analytics.
Data Retention
Your account data (email, name, profile picture, and course progress) is retained as long as your account exists. If you would like your data deleted, contact us and we will remove it promptly.
